First, think about your demands

Before you buy a digital camera, you should spot what for you will use it. Will you use it rarely, or do you want to be a Professional photographer. Photographs which you have token, will be viewed on computer screen only, or will be used for printing. Firstly you should decide about these things. Otherwise its meanless to buy a digital camera which one have these specifications.

Sensors are important

Sensors are directly connected with digital camera quality. There are two types of sensors. They are CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) and CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor). If your choice is not D-SLR cameras you should choose CCD sensors.

Don’t Trust Megapixels

If you think to buy a digital camera which has a higher megapixel specification, it means that you are on wrong spot. Megapixel specification can influence you. Think about, it’s better to buy a camera which has higher specification without higher megapixel. But if you want to print your photographs with big sizes or take a part of photograph with crop process in the computer environment your choice can be these cameras.

On the other hand, don’t trust high values which are written on cameras. For example a digital camera which has 8 MP specifications can use interpolation way to reach this resolution. You can think interpolation like zooming your photos on your computer. If you need a higher solution don’t use these kinds of cameras. Adjusting Photograph

If you are interested in taking real photos, you should buy a digital camera which has manual options. If you don’t care it and you will take only holiday photos or commemorative photos buying an ordinary camera can be right choice for you.

Zoom

Nearly all digital cameras have zoom specification. But be careful about this. Zoom can be done in two ways. Digital or optical. Optical zoom is more important than digital zoom. Because optical zoom uses objective to focus on photo but digital zoom resizes your photo to higher resolution. So digital zoom cannot satisfy your demands.

Macro Photographs

If you like to take detailed photos, you should be care of your camera’s macro distance. Think about it and don’t buy higher distanced cameras if you like to take these types of photos.

Landscape Photographs

Usually, If you are taking landscape photos, prefer cameras which has width angled objective. Maybe you can add cameras to your choice list which have panorama specification. However don’t forget it’s important to use a tripod for panorama photos.

Dark Environment Photograps

Having a flash is the first thing you need for taking dark environment photos. Buying sufficient distanced flash cameras or extra flash supported cameras can be preferred. In addition, be care of your cameras auto focus specification (AF Assist Light/Beam). If you are thinking about taking landscape photos in dark, buy low Momentaufnahme value (15 seconds) and low ISO (ISO 50) value cameras to increase you photos quality.

What About Batteries

If you like taking a lot of photos in the country, we advice you to buy AA baterry supported camera. It’s easy to supply AA batteries. (Nowadays AA batteries reached to 2400 mAh- 2500 mAh values)

Package Content

While buying a digital camera another important subject is package content. Usually, you can find some information aobut package content in user guides. Don’t compare this with package content. Memory card, case, braces, lens cover, batteries, user guide, USB cable, video cable can be included in the package content. (These can be change acording to brand/model)
